Holly Milstead ABR, CRS, GRI

Holly started her real estate career in 1989 and has been a consistent top performer since. Holly joined her parents, Lena and Earl, in the family business as the most recent addition to a long history of Milsteads in real estate. Holly’s reputation for family values and genuine concern for each and every client has earned her the trust and support of not only her clients but also her peers. Holly joined Keller Williams Realty in 2001 and continues to live by her promise to clients; “I will not sell you a home that I would not be proud to sell for you later.”

Holly and her parents have grown The Milstead Team to six licensed Realtors. The professionalism and common goals shared by the team make for a great partnership and a combined 130 years of experience. The team includes two Listing agents, a Buyer’s agent, 3 Brokers; of these one is an Appraiser, one is a Licensed Administrative Assistant and one is a Transaction Coordinator.

Holly specializes in McKinney, Frisco, Allen, Plano, Prosper, Celina, Fairview, Lucas, Anna, Melissa and also the remainder of Collin and Denton Counties. As a lifetime resident of McKinney, Holly understands the inner workings of the community and is able to use her knowledge of the past and present to give the best advice to her clients. Holly has earned the following credentials: Accredited Buyer Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate of the Realtor’s Institute, Luxury Homes, Certified Residential Marketing Specialist, Certified Property Specialist and Historical Home Specialist among others. Holly has a degree from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University.)

One of the many things Holly has developed over the years is a strong bond with the community. Being involved with many of the community initiatives is a passion for Holly. She has been a member of Rotary International since 1995, The McKinney Chamber of Commerce since 1989, provided numerous volunteer hours and support for Habitat for Humanity and The Samaritan Inn. Holly is also a past graduate of Leadership McKinney.

Holly’s achievements in the Real Estate community have been recognized in many ways over the past 20 years. In 2006 Holly was named by D Magazine as one of Dallas’ Top 50 Real Estate Agents and has received this recognition again in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In addition, The Milstead Team has been recognized as one of the top team in Keller Williams Realty, receiving the following awards: Double Gold 2001- 2002, Triple Gold 2003-2005, and Quadruple Gold 2006-Present.

Lena Milstead CRS, GRI

With over 25 years of experience in real estate and 15 years in banking, Lena brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. As a lifetime resident of Collin County, Lena has weathered all types of financial markets and understands the differences and nuances of each. She is and her husband Earl, are the founding partners of The Milstead Team and have continued to grow the business through booming and tough times. While working in the banking industry and beginning her own family, Lena decided to follow Earl into real estate and has now been a licensed Real Estate Broker for over 25 years.

Throughout her career, Lena has worked as onsite sales representatives for custom builders and also owned her own real estate company. The Milsteads decided to make a move in 2001 and joined Keller Williams Realty where they have been recognized numerous times for being one of the top Real Estate Groups at Keller Williams.

Lena holds a BS degree from The University of North Texas and Certificate in Banking from Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. She has earned the following real estate credentials: Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Corporate Property Specialist, Certified New Home Specialist, Graduate of Realtors Institute, Historical Preservation Specialist, Referral and Relocation Certification, Previews Specialist and completed Corporate Diversity Training.

A passion for the community drives Lena daily and has become the focus of her career. Among the many boards and committees she serves on are: Hurricane Creek Ladies Association (Past President), Habitat for Humanity, Heritage Guild of Collin County, North Texas Christian Academy, City of McKinney-Town Center Study Committee, Women’s Alliance McKinney, McKinney Chamber of Commerce, Eldorado Ladies Association (Past President). S has also served on the Board of Directors and many Committees with the Collin County Association of Realtors. Lena and her family are active members of the High Pointe Church of Christ.

In addition to being recognized as one of the Top Groups at Keller Williams every year since 2001, Lena and The Milstead Team received the Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award in 1991 and Lena was recognized in the President’s Circle and President’s Elite for numerous years as well.

Earl Milstead SRA, SRWA, GRI

Since 1960, Early B. Milstead has been sharing his knowledge with the residents of Collin County. Currently specializing in Farm, Ranch and Land Brokerage, Earl began his real estate career as an Appraiser and has been influential in many of the projects you have come to know and love around the area. Earl has been an owner of a real estate company, appraisal company or real estate team since 1960 and has left a lasting impact on each and every one he has done business with.

Earl’s career has been vast and covered many committees and boards. Some of his past positions include President of the following: Collin County Association of Realtors, McKinney Rotary Club, McKinney Chamber of Commerce, Appraisal Institute and International Right of Way. In addition, Earl served as Chairman of County Hospital Board. He and his wife, Lena’s Brokerage firm was awarded the Business of the Year in 1991. Earl attended Texas Christian University and Southern Methodist University and earned a Certificate in Real Estate.

Currently, Earl is the senior member of The Milstead Team, an active member of Rotary International (since 1965), a member of the Chamber of Commerce and an Elder at High Pointe Church of Christ.

As a constant source of sound and level advice and experience, Earl continues to lead The Milstead Team and many of his peers even in the beginnings of semi-retirement. A member of a long line of family Realtors, Earl has real estate in his blood and will always be an active part of The Milstead Team. Members of Earl’s family that were also Real Estate Brokers included Leonard Milstead, Ted Sisco and Earl Milstead Sr..

Earl has an immense love of the community and pride in the growth it has seen over the years. His values and leadership will continue to help McKinney grow for years to come.

Kimberly Nichol Barrow Realtor

Kimberly Nichol Barrow has rejoined The Milstead Team full time as Administrative Assistant/Listing Coordinator. Kimberly worked with Holly previously for 9+ years before taking a few years off to be a mom and run a family business. She has been licensed since 1998, worked in the Real Estate industry since 1994 and is a lifetime resident of McKinney. Kimberly brings her vast knowledge of the area, technology and marketing skills to the team.

Kimberly begin her real estate career while working for a top producing company as office listing secretary then in 1996 became Holly's administrative assistant. With her background in customer service and management she is able to successfully list, market, and sell properties as well as negotiate the best price and guide clients through the buying and selling process. Kimberly is very detail oriented and strives to keep everyone informed at all times.

With her real estate license and her numerous certificates and classes in
marketing, photography, customer service, technology, and her knowledge and
love of McKinney, Kimberly's clients are in the best hands. As education is important to her, she continues to attend classes through Keller Williams University, Collin College or any others that she feels will benefit her clients.

Kimberly's passion for the community shows through her involvement in Girl Scouts where she is a leader; McKinney ISD where she has served on many booster boards; and McKinney Christian Academy where she serves/volunteers on numerous committees. She and her family are active members of the
Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church where she loves working with Awanas, Kid Zone and kids programs throughout the church. Kimberly is always helping throughout the community and she believes in "The Power of One" where we have the power to make that difference in each other's lives and in thelives of everyone we meet. Kimberly and her husband, Craig live in McKinney with their 2 children
Ronnie and Angelina. Ronnie is attending Texas Tech University and Angelina attends McKinney Christian Academy. Kimberly and Craig spend any free time with family or playing at Lake Texoma.

Debbie Castleberry CCPS, CRMS

Debbie and her husband Gary are lifetime residents of Collin County where Gary has built a name for himself as a premier builder. Debbie brings to the team, a vast knowledge of the industry; from the building process to an expert knowledge of contracts.

Debbie began her real estate career at the Collin County Multiple Listing Service where she worked for 13 years. In 1995, she became a licensed Realtor and began listing and selling properties. In 2000 she joined The Milstead Team as an Administrative Assistant and has been a key part of the team since. Currently, her role on the team is to manage all of the distressed properties. This includes everything from listing and pricing to maintenance and finally all the way through the closing process.

With her degree from Collin County Community College in Real Estate and the immense amount of knowledge and experience she brings to the team, Debbie creates a balance and steadiness necessary for the diversity the The Milstead Team offers. She also has the following designations: Certified Corporate Property Specialist and Certified Residential Marketing Specialist.

In addition to her education, Debbie and the team have earned numerous awards including: Double Gold, Triple Gold, Quadruple Gold as well as being one of the top teams at Keller Williams from 2001-present.
